Working for the liberation of all beings everywhere. Bringing higher consciousness to the planet, one eternal moment at a time.
For the fortunate few, Gorebagg (a.k.a. E.J. Gold) taught a live guitar class every Sunday afternoon for 20 weeks. These two hour Sunday classes were a major boost for the students that were able to attend.
For folks living within driving distance, the classes were available onsite in EJ's music studio.
And for those that were too distant for the in-person lessons, the classes were streamed live around the world.
That was then, this is now. The live broadcast guitar series has run its course.
But don't despair. Gorebagg has graceously posted the class material (including chord charts and song sheets) along with a set of 20 video lessons. These charts and lessons are an excellent start on your journey to learn guitar. They will give you a firm foundation and help you gain confedience without unnecessary confusion. Many guitar sytems give you too much, too fast. Gorebagg will give you just enough at a rate that is easy to work with.
For easy chord reference check out Gorebagg's Chord photos and charts. These pictures and charts will give you all the information you need to play the chords used in these lessons.
Have you ever wanted to play guitar but didn't quite know how to get started? Now, at last, there is a way -- it's called the 3-Chord Method, and anyone can learn it. You'll be able to play guitar the very first day!
EJ Gold's 3-Chord Method is presented personally by world-famous folksinger EJ Gold, a former student of Pete Seeger with over 300 recordings to his credit.
For the record it's perfectly okay to use either Steel-string or nylon string acoustic or electric guitars. However, if you are just starting out, it is recommended you begin with a nylon string acoustic. This will be so much easier on your fingers. It takes awhile to build up calluses on the tips of your fingers to tolerate the steel strings.
