The Power of Gratitude

Marvette Kort

The Gratitude Mantra cards are a powerful awakening tool. You may be pulling a card each day from the deck to hold in your attention throughout the day, or you may be working with the Gratitude Mantra posted in the morning Zoom meeting chat from Gorby everyday. Either way, the words can resound in one's mind, settle in the attention and open doors in one's heart -- all of which precipitate a beneficial effect.

Yesterday, and this is not its first appearance since we've received from Gorby a daily mantra -- one of 100, the card read, "My vision becomes reality." That was followed today by a mantra, which also has previously appeared, "Whatever positivity I put into the universe is what I get back."

Holding my focus on the daily mantra and holding the Super Beacon crystal grippers just a few minutes each day exercises what I call my "gratitude flowing prayer". My prayer is more experiential, sensing the flow of gratitude, than it is a reciting of a composed prayer.

The self-judgment and endless self-critique quiets. In the silence, I feel the warmth of gratitude and the opening of an allowing force. I can envision both possible mantra reality streams, like synergistic spells, operating and governing my existence. Creativity blossoms. Solutions for problems present themselves. How to manifest the germ of an idea comes into my awareness. A fresh light energy gently bubbles up.

Working with the Gratitude Mantra cards does not delve into the realms of belief systems. They do not espouse any religion. They are not the foundation for any organized, or not so organized, association.

These 100 cards carry words that can deliver a wisdom that is accessible to all no matter your age, sex or culture. These mantras, when focused on, may be recognized and acknowledged, kindling an individualized understanding that may have common threads throughout all of humanity. They are potent with the gentleness of accepting and allowing each who approach. No commitment is required. They are present when you choose to drink from their stream of truth.

New Offerings For Voyagers

by E.J. Gold, May 12, 2019

Excerpt by T. Jones

"Ready from my studio is the amazing 'Piece of God' charm, which contains an enormous level, all contained in a tiny bundle of pure emitted energy, activated by the radio waves emanating from your heart, which is a low-energy transmitter, tempered by the radio-waves coming directly to Earth from the Big Bang and Stage 3 Stars."

"To top it all off, you'll be wearing a 'Piece of God Charm', which is our equivalent of a 'Crucifix', which is, in case you aren't familiar with them, and lots of folks around the world have no idea what this might be."

TOUCH GOD - "I mean it. God is within easy reach, when you have a Godd Particle dangling around your chest. Touch it for luck, for extra power, extra energy, emergency help, panic or fear, just as you would a crucifix or a star of David or a Hand of Fatima or a Figa Horn Charm.

"GIVE THEM AWAY OR SELL THEM"

"Have you been wondering what your mission on Earth actually might be? Here's your answer."

IDENTITY -- "You're charged with Self-Remembering and Self-Consciousness", which means that you're a working LRS and/or PLS Practitioner."

COMMUNITY -- "You belong to a Soul Group, a Pack of Green (PoG) -- cooperation, not competition. You all work to learn to tolerate and even appreciate differentness."

PURPOSE -- The purpose is obvious. Save the Planet and Serve the Work."

It's A Matter Of Choice

Barbara Haynes

May 8th (Mother's Day) Journal Entry

A wonderful thing has been happening lately. There are times when I don't hang on to a mood. I notice it more when I'm in a "bad mood" and move out or through it. Then I find myself in a place of no resistance. What I notice about the place of no resistance is it feels easier, calmer, gentler. After I've become aware of the shift, I realize it was a matter of choice. A decision had been made. In the past, once a mood had begun to proceed, I would become invested in it. When I look back on the behavior that proceeds when I don't let go, it's as if I am a one dimensional character. Once I have let go of the mood or emotion and been in the moment, I find I am still an actor playing out my part, but there is no resistance to what is. Expectations have fallen away. The wish that it were other than what is has faded into the background. When I hang onto a mood it's as if I am trying to protect something -- my ego perhaps? :) There is the fear of loss of identity.

It isn't acceptable by the regular laws of behavior to have control over our emotions or moods. I learned to let them proceed without my involvement and I learned and believed they were who I was. When I first encountered the idea that moods and emotions can be a matter of choice, I reacted with "But to decide to feel or act other than the automatic process isn't real. It isn't being true to who I am." Now, after years of working with having my emotions and moods be a matter of choice I find I am more centered, better able to act, not react, in any given situation.

It definitely has taken a lot of observation and practice, but I know now that to live an authentic life really is a matter of choice -- to be controlled by the moods and emotions of the machine or choose a life living in "what is" - a life in the center. But what happens in the center you might ask? Nothing -- and that takes some getting used to.

Cleansing Radiations

Jewel McInroy

"You have all kinds of lower primate reactions which eventually get expunged through many, many passages through the Bardos. The cleansing radiations eventually wear down those reactions. It takes a long time until you finally can - not die - but pass freely from this world. Your passage is blocked by those reactions, which deny you your ability to expand beyond your present horizon".

Motivation

Michele Marie

What is our motivation behind all the things we do?

Is it for the benefit of others?

You can't change what is, but you can learn to like it.

By internalizing this truth it will create transformation within our mind, attitude and focus.

---000---

"There exists a magic phrase, but in order to understand how to use this magic phrase, you must have already come to a complete agreement about its truth.

There are two parts to the statement.

"The first part is, You can't change what is, which at least means if you look at your situation clearly and objectively in the abstract, you realize there's nothing you can do.

"You might close your eyes, but having your eyes closed doesn't make you invisible, and it doesn't make it go away, whatever it is.

There may very well be a way to close your eyes in that condition; but even with your eyes closed, you're not going to change what is. What is, is.

Once you realize that you cannot change what is, you see nirvana.

From one of the many Buddhist views -- and I have to qualify by saying that this is not the absolute view of all Buddha natures or all Buddhism --

the concept of nirvana and of the attainment of the rainbow bridge, and the pure Buddhaland, requires samsara.

"Now comes the other part of that all-important shamanic phrase: You can't change what is, but you can learn to like it.

"If change is possible, the only change that is possible is to learn to like it.

To learn to like something which is intolerable is going to take some finesse, obviously.

"Whatever it is that you're in, whatever you can't change, whatever is the truth -- what the Sufis call Al Haqq, which is the undeniable, horrible truth -- if you can really sit with that truth, you can learn to like it.

Learning to like it doesn't mean you already know how.

When you address the problems of learning, it doesn't automatically follow that you realize that the process of learning begins with not knowing how,

and that learning actually does suppose that you're going to acquire knowledge and skills which you don't presently have.

The process of learning may be repeated indefinitely or as necessary.

It may be periodically repeated whether you like it or not, in which case, there is a process of learning to like the process of learning to like it."

Thank You Beaver!

Nishiet Gajjar

In whatever little or brief moments that I got to spend with Beaver, there was an episode that I probably won't forget ever. Actually, it was during the pre-covid times when I visited the institute. On a Thursday night after having dinner, I was heading to the barn to attend a night session (I presume Thursday with Xxaxx). Well, it was dark and I was all by myself without no one around to accompany me on this short journey from the cafe to the barn. However, in that tiny passage, out of nowhere Mutthead came out from the bushes and started barking vigorously at me. With a pinch of fear and guilt ingrained in my voice, I tried to calm him down by telling him, "It's me!" (as if he would understand who this "me" is!) But he got louder and louder with his barking and I felt he might end this episode by probably biting me! However, in a flash Beaver came running towards him. He literally made some kind of noise (probably in dog language which I am not acquainted with at all!). And he put his forelegs around Mutthead's neck in a gesture symbolizing "calm down - he is not a threat!". But Mutthead was still barking yet Beaver kept his forelegs around Mutthead's neck and kept making that unique low volume noise. During those moments he also moved Mutthead to the side so as to clear the path for me to enter the barn! Mutthead eventually stopped barking. I was speechless and astonished by Beaver's gesture. And Beaver kept observing me until I entered the barn and closed the door behind me.

Through this episode, I experienced the different personalities that both of them had and also the level of intelligence and sort of conscious action that Beaver took and showcased at that moment. For someone like me who has not spent much time with pets, this was indeed a learning experience and something which I have never seen before in my life!

Adios and gratitude, Mr. Beaver!
