Where: Grass Valley, California When: Thursday, November 27th, (Registration and Thanksgiving Dinner) to Sunday, November 30th, noon PST Cost: $350.00 The Altar Spaces & Just Desserts Workshop begins with a holiday dinner, followed by registration at the group house. There you will share a large, comfortable house with other workshop participants – a mix of “old timers” who come regularly to these events to listen and obtain help from the guide and those who have come for the first time. Altar Spaces & Just Desserts is scheduled to deal with 2 areas - working with altars and exquisite, yummy desserts! The phrase,“ feasting in the real world”, will take on a broader meaning around Mr. Gold who is a gourmand and connoisseur of the highest level. At his Thanksgiving dinner table and throughout the workshop, with his help we can learn the secrets of higher being food – what can serve our work and what does not. Transubstantiation of food is an important part of the alchemical process of refining substances for work purposes. For the serious student, desserts, like any food, can serve a larger purpose than the satiation of a sweet tooth.
In conjunction with this, Mr. Gold will explore setting up and using altars, equipping them to have the most potential and assist in making ourselves ready to best use them. We will learn the etiquette of the sacred space. For, as the saying goes, “When in sacred spaces, do as higher beings do.”
