If you were an artist and you had some artwork that was
permanently marked "Not For Sale", but you wanted to share the
images with others, what would you do???
Make prints, sure, but there's a lot more to life than a print
hanging
on a wall.
I'm not Bill Blass, or Mr. Blackwell, or Coco Chanel. I can't
issue a
command to mass-produce millions of T-Shirts, Mugs, Ball Caps,
Mousepads, Sweatsuits, Golf Shirts, Teddy Bears, Tile Boxes and
Coasters, Thongs, Camisoles, Aprons, Calendars, Sketchbooks,
Notecards, Postcards, Spaghetti Tanks, Boxers, Clocks, Buttons,
Childrens' Wear, Sports and Fitness Wear, Messenger Bags, Tote
Bags, Baby Bibs, Pet T-Shirts, and other Great Designer
Goodies.
My market is limited. My capital is very limited. If I have some
great
design ideas, how can I get my product Out There???
At last I have a way to produce all the above items and more, in
quantities of one or more, with no "front" cost to me now or
ever! And
you could have the same! I do not personally benefit from
anything
related to this! My sole interest is in getting others started
on a fun
project that could potentially become a first-class business,
but the
real joy is in getting YOUR artwork on a variety of consumer
goods!
I want you to take a look at the stores I've put up online.
Browse the
items. See what YOU can do to get YOUR artwork ideas Out There,
then phone or email me with feedback about my shops. I will
return
the favor by telling you EXACTLY how YOU can do the same with
your art.
If you want detailed instruction on how to do it, I will also be
running
seminars and workshops showing how to get started in this great
artistic fun project!
If you are a total Web Neanderthal, I have a team of willing
workers
who are willing to set up shops like this for others at an
extremely
modest donation to cover their time and effort.
A simple shop can be only hours away. The shops I tend to put up are
labor-intensive and would normally be prohibitive to most folks.
My
team is willing to perform these labors for fellow artists.
A full-scale shop is only $5 a month on a yearly payment plan.
The
basic shop is actually free. What's the catch? There is none.
The
limits are strictly defined by YOUR imagination.
Please Note: I am not associated in any way, other than as a
shopkeeper, with cafepress.com. If you open a shop there and
mention me as your reference, I personally get nothing. IDHHB,
Inc.,
a nonprofit charity, gets a 5% comission on your sales -- not
from
YOUR money, from THEIR side of the deal.
What a great way to do fundraising for your favorite 501(c)3
charity!!!
I am an experienced website designer, so my shops tend to be a
bit
sophisticated. Woodstock Art for
instance,
is four tiers, or backpage levels, deep. It can be even deeper
than
that. In addition, for those with extreme web and html skills,
there is
provision for meta promotion, customizing, headers, footers, and
much, much more.
Well, I've been working solidly, about 18 hours a day, for the
past six
days on these shops, and I'm very excited about the prospects.
If I
were still living in New York or Los Angeles, I'd take one of
each item
I produced as a sample into Gift Shops, Museum Shops, Galleries
and Department Stores. I've never seen a more inexpensive way to
get samples of my artwork produced, and boy, am I excited to
share
this with other artists and musicians!
Of course, these make great promotional items and corporate
gifts,
too. Not for the Big Corporations. They can afford thousands of
items
and don't need small run gifts. But for that little realty
company down
the street....and YOU could do it for them! That's the idea I
really
wanted to convey. There are hundreds of ideas running around my
little artistic brain, and I want others to benefit from this!
I'm having
a terrific and rewarding time designing stuff, and I thought YOU
might have as much fun as I'm having, doing the same with YOUR
OWN artwork.
Oh, by the way, I'm planning a "You Can Paint" shop real soon,
with
images from painting classes that you might have attended or
seen
on TV or Home Video DVDs.
So write or call me at the Mill Street Gallery, 530-271-2239 or
530-
271-2222 and I'll be happy to help you get started on this
incredible
Work Path!!!
