Patricia Elizabeth, Iven Lourie, Tamara Murray, Grant Abrams and Susan Plucknett presented a series of "End of Life Celebration" Workshops on the East Coast in November and December. This is a very winning formula that combines the American Book of the Dead with Story Telling and Poetry and exercises. It reaches a wide audience including seniors in advanced care facilities.
BooksRecent publications include SlimeWars, Bardo Stations, the Just Because Club and Cynthia Henderson's Understanding Character Through Self.Queued up for soon release are H.L. Gold's Perfect Murders, E.J. Gold at MoMa: Drawings and Paintings from 1944 - 1949, Spiritual Gaming and Patricia Elizabeth's long-awaited book.
TalksNew Years Resolutions Made Easy? E.J. has provided us with his picks for the best talks. If you can only listen to 52 of the four hundred some talks available, these are the ones. His Top Ten are also identified for easy prioritization.
Also this year, E.J. was featured on Integral Naked, Ken Wilber's website, where he was interviewed by Stuart Davis on the American Book of the Dead and other topics. A recommended listen.
MusicRecent musical releases are topped by the Mill Street Jazz Lab and the Blues Basics Series, an innovative project which both teaches a noob how to play harmonica and -- in a separate CD -- shows how it can be done by a pro. E.J. and Robbert Trice teamed up with ace Sound Engineer Oz Fritz to create a very user-friendly package.
On the musical horizon, E.J. will be releasing his collaboration with the late Dru Kristel, whose drumming talent is legendary.
